Before the event
Set up once, on the ground, before you fly.
| Set the grid center | Pan the crosshair over the field › Settings › Grid Center › Use Map Center as Grid Center |
| Download offline maps (optional) | Settings › Offline Maps › Download Offline Maps… (only if you want the map to work without signal) |
| Import your zones | Settings › Zones › Import Regions… — sorts itself by the colours in the file |
| Import red roads | Settings › Zones › Import Roads… — the only import with a keepout corridor |
| Import a file with no colours | Same buttons › pick Red / Yellow / Blue when asked (usually PLT and GPX) |

Morning setup
Load the day's tasks and get your device talking to the crew.

| Set the launch point | Tap the Launch Point row › Common (CLP) or Individual (ILP) |

| See which station a sounding used | Settings › Winds Aloft › the Station row — amber distance means it's over 30 miles off |

| Drive to the active target | Tap the car button (replaces Declare Goal in crew mode) |
| Choose Apple or Google Maps | Settings › Targets › Directions app › Apple Maps / Google Maps |

After the flight
Wrap up and hand off.
